Block Cash on Delivery for PO Box addresses

Cash on Delivery needs a person at the door. When the shipping address is a PO Box, collection fails and the order bounces. This rule hides COD the moment a buyer types a PO Box address.

Set it up

1. Open Template gallery → Hide COD for PO Box addresses → Use template.
2. The condition is address contains "po box". Matching is case-insensitive, so "PO Box", "po box", and "P.O. Box" variants with the same spelling all match. Add more conditions if your buyers write it differently.
3. Click Save rule.

Verify

In the Rule tester, type PO Box 123 into the address field and the rule fires. At checkout, the payment list updates after the buyer enters their address.

Notes

• Address conditions apply once the buyer has entered an address. Before that, checkout shows the default methods.
